Is it just me, or is spring early? Yes, I think it is. But I'm not complaining, as it's one of my favorite seasons as an interior designer. First of all, the colors! Aren't they gorgeous?! And always so renewing and inspiring. Every single spring I notice colors that I have never seen before. Mother Nature's palette is always the most inspired and timeless. And she's always in fashion. But what I also love about spring is that it's the best time to start new design projects. Yes, spring cleaning can also apply to interior design.
At Laura Lee Clark Interior Design, the part that is so enjoyable for us is that feeling of new beginnings for a design project. A clean slate, starting fresh, a blank canvas. And oh the possibilities. It gives me a creative thrill every single time. And the spirit of spring wraps all of these feelings up into one wonderful whole so well. Certainly that beautiful space you always dreamed of may be created during any time of year, but starting in the spring is the cherry on top. And of course pleasant weather conditions can relegate construction delays to virtually naught. And that alone is one of life's great Objet Petit A's!
Now, if you know me you know I am always thinking about every angle, every detail, every possibility when designing spaces. For me, it's the entire experience for my clients. I want them to be in love with every detail. For example, the minute I step into a space I notice the views....and how best to maximize the experience of that view. And of course at no time is it more beautiful than spring. At Laura Lee Clark Interior Design, we think it's so important to assess the way you live in its entirety before beginning the design process. We assess focal points, views, shadow, light, flow. I simply love to take it all in, and I am designing in my mind from the very first meeting. I can't help it! And at no time is it more exciting to discover the perfect space than during spring. So in this brand new season full of brand new possibilities, make sure to call on us to make your dreams spring into reality.
And finally, always remember that it's the entire journey that's so important in fine interior design. It's not just the beginning or the end, it's the entire process. And at Laura Lee Clark Interior Design, we will always strive to make that process as enjoyable as possible for you and your family.
And speaking of spring and all things brand new, don't forget to drop by The Shop on Dragon Street to see all of our wonderful new things to ring in the season.
Enjoy!
Best regards,
Laura Lee Clark
